PASTOR’S FALL BIBLE STUDY

Pastor Jerry’s fall Bible study will begin Tuesday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 1.  More information will be available as we get closer to July.

A well maintained library for peoples of all ages is located on the first floor of the church.  Books, audio and video tapes, and periodical literature may be checked out for personal use at home.

 SHARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOK ON MAY 8 AT THE B.U.M.C. BOOK CLUB

July is the month of picnics, parties, barbecues, swimming and many more fun activities. It is also a special month as we celebrate the strong men and women who founded our country on the 4th of July. It is a month to celebrate the freedom we have and a future of hope. Check out some of the books we have in our church library to honor America.

A TASTE OF FREEDOM: A CULINARY JOURNEY WITH AMERICA’S REFUGEES by       Vincent Delgado, Jeremy Herliczer and Becky Shink (641.5/DEL). Discover recipes from all over the world that reflect the backgrounds of the many peoples who have come to make America their home.

BUMC BOOK CLUB

The church book club will not meet officially    during the summer months but will resume meeting on September 11 art 10 a.m. in the church library. The book chosen for discussion will be CHANGE OF HEART by Jodi Picoult. The book for October is STILL LIFE by Louise Penney.
